A Responsible Beach Day in Lombok

A responsible beach day starts before you reach the sand. Carry a refillable bottle, reusable bag and reef-conscious sun protection. Avoid single-use items when practical, and take all waste with you if bins are unavailable or overflowing. Wind can move light packaging into the ocean within seconds.

Protect people and wildlife

Do not touch coral, chase animals or collect shells from protected areas. Keep music at a considerate volume and respect fishing activity, ceremonies and private property. Buy food or drinks from local businesses when possible, but do not expect vendors to dispose of excessive outside waste.
